I’ve released a small update for Direct Sell Assistant, a bookkeeping solution for direct sales home businesses.

This update only affects people using Direct Sell Assistant on Windows 64bit machines, you don’t need to update if you are running on a 32bit Windows version.

How to update

You can download the latest install package from here. To update or install just run the installation package.

I completed a demo video for Direct Sell Assistant, a software solution for managing direct sales businesses.

This will explain Direct Sell Assistant in a quick way and give users a taste before downloading the application to try for them self.

I am again pleased to announce the release of Direct Sell Assistant 1.3. Which add some useful features to help direct sales consultants keep track of their direct sales businesses.

What is new?

Company payments – every time you pay your company for those products that customers had ordered can now be recorded in Direct Sell Assistant.

Expense tracking – all those business expenses like buying gifts for customers or getting the cake for a direct sales home party can now all be recorded in Direct Sell Assistant.

Update/Install procedures

You can just go and download the latest installation package and run the setup package, it will update your existing installation or install Direct Sell Assistant if you have not install a previous version before.

If you open a file created with a previous version of Direct Sell Assistant it will ask you to upgrade your file, please note that once you have upgraded your file you won’t be able to open that file in a previous version of Direct Sell Assistant.

All your direct sales business expenses can now be tracked by Direct Sell Assistant.

And it is very easy, no need to fill in huge forms, just a date, simple description and the amount:

When we put this together with customer payments and company payments we can get a good look at your business's profitability.

I am finishing off 2 new features for Direct Sell Assistant, and wanted to show company payment tracking here, I will later also show a preview of the expense tracking feature later next week.

For now we can keep track of customer payments in Direct Sell Assistant, it basically works exactly the same as customer payments, the only difference is it is against a company and not a customer.

We can now combine customer payments with company payments and show you a nice commission report.

I am pleased to announce the next release of Direct Sell Assistant 1.2.0, Xenotar Software’s direct sales software solution.

What’s new?

There is only one added feature for this release; customer payment tracking. You will be able now to track payments received from customers, that also creates statement abilities for your customers.

As you can see, here is a list of payments made by the selected customer, adding a new payment is easy by clicking on the New button:

Together with orders you are now able to print a statement for your customer:

Update procedure

You can download the updated setup package from the product page and just run it.

What’s next

I am currently working on 2 new features for the next release; company payment tracking and expense tracking. Company payment tracking will allow you to track your payments to companies and also give the ability to see how much commission you made. Expense tracking will give allow you to enter any direct sales business related expenses like party plan or marketing expenses. This will give you the ability to run a profit / loss report for your business.
